Ṣafar — Safar

The month of Ṣafar is the heaviest and most difficult month of the year. It is said that 700,000 troubles descend during this month. We ask Allah ﷻ to divert these troubles away from us and toward those who intend harm toward the believers.

To protect ourselves, we are advised to:

• Recite the Shahada three times:
• Say “Astaghfirullah” 300 times
• Give daily charity, even if it is small. If you don’t find someone to give it to right away, set it aside first thing in the morning and give it as soon as you can.

One charity closes seventy doors of trouble. So give what you can from your heart — not for show, but as a shield against the day's unseen harms. May Allah ﷻ bless us with safety, and may He show us bright, guided days ahead.
