Rabīʿ al-Awwal — Rabi al-Awwal

Corresponds to 14 August – 11 September 2026

Rabī‘ al‑Awwal is the month in which Rasūlullāh ﷺ blessed the universe with his birth. The twelfth of Rabī‘ al‑Awwal is the night of Walādat (Mawlīd), the first sacred night in the Hijrī Calendar. During this month, Muslims should engage in reciting salawāt (durūd) sharīf, such as Salāt al‑Nāriyyah, Salāt al‑Munjiyah and Salāt al‑Fathiyah as many times as possible.
