دُعَاءُ رَجَب شَرِيف
Duʿāʾ of the Saint of Rajab — Invocation of the Saint of Rajab (Vali Abbās)
ٱللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّيْ ٱسْتَغْفِرُكَ مِنْ كُلِّ مَا تُبْتُ عَنْهُ إِلَيْكَ ثُمَّ عُدْتُ فِيهِ وَ ٱسْتَغْفِرُكَ مِنْ كُلِّ أَرَدْتٌ بِهِ وَجْهِكَ فَخَالَتَنِي فِيهِ مَا لَيْسَ فِيهِ رِضَاءُك وَ ٱسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِلْنِّعَمَ ٱلَّتِي تَقَوَّيتُ بِهَا عَلىٰ مَعْصِيَتِك وَ ٱسْتَغْفِرُكَ مِنْ ٱلْذُّنُوبِ ٱلَّتِي لَا يَعْلَمُهَا غَيْرُكَ وَ لَا يَطَّلِعُ عَلَيهَا أَحَدٌ سِوَاك وَ لَا تَسْعُهَا إِلَّا رَحْمَتِكَ وَ لَا تُنْجِي مِنْهَا إِلَّا مَغْفِرَتُكَ وَحِلْمُكَ لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنْ ٱلْظَّالِمِين ٱللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّي ٱسْتَغْفِرُكَ مِنْ كُلِّ ظُلْمٍ ظَلَمْتُ بِهِ عِبَادَك فَأَيُّمَّا عَبْدٍ مِنْ عَبَادِكَ أَوْ أَمَةٍ مِنْ إِمَاءِكَ ظَلَمْتُ فِي بَدَنِهِ أَوْ عِرْضِهِ أَوْ مَالِهِ فَأَعْطِهِ مِنْ خَزَاءِنِكِ ٱلَّتِي لَا تَنْقُص وَ أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تُكْرِمَنِ بِ رَحْمَتِكِ ٱلَّتِي وَسِعَت كُلَّ شَيْءٍ وَ لَا تُهِينَنِي بِ عَذَابِكَ وَ لَا تُعْطِيَّنِ مَا أَسْأَلُكَ فَإِنِّي حَقِيقٌ بِ رَحْمَتِكَ يَا ٱرْحَمُ ٱلْرَّاحِمِين وَ صَلَّى ٱللّٰهُ عَلَى سَيَّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَ عَلَى آلِهِ وَ صَحْبِهِ أَجْمَعِين وَ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِٱللّٰهِ ٱلْعَلِيِّ ٱلْعَّظِيم
Allahumma innee astaghfiruka min kulli maa tubtu ‘an hu ilayka thumma ‘udtu fihi. Wastaghfiruka min kulli aradtun bihi wajhika fakhaa latani feehi maa laysa feehi ridaa ‘uka. Wastaghfiruka lin ni’am allattee taqawwaytu bihaa alaa ma’siyatika. Wastaghfiruka min adh dhunoob illatee laa ya’lamuhaa ghayruka wa laa yatta li’u ‘alayhaa ahadun siwaaka wa laa tas’uhaa illaa rahmatika wa laa tunjee minhaa illaa maghfiratuka wa hilmuka. Laa ilaaha illa anta subhaanaka innee kuntu min azh-zhaalimeen. Allaahumma innee istaghfiruka min kulli zhulmin zhalamyu bihi ‘ibaadika. Fa ayyumaa ‘abdin min ‘ibaadika aw amatin min imaa ika zhalamtu fee badanihi aw ‘irdihi aw maalihi fa a’tihi min khazaa inika allati laa tanqus. Wa asaluka an tukrimani bi rahmatik illati wasi’at kulli shay in wa laa tuhee nanee bi ‘adhaabika wa laa tu’tiyyani maa asaluka fa innee haqiqun bi rahmatika yaa arham ur raahimeen. Wa sallallaahu ‘ala sayyadina Muhammadin wa ‘ala aalihi wa sahbihi ajma’een. Wa laa hawla wa laa quwwata illaa billaa hil alee il azheem.
O Allah, I ask of Thee for everything for which I have repented to Thee and then returned to. And I ask forgiveness of Thee for everything I displeased Thee with and all that concerns me with which you are displeased. And I ask forgiveness of Thee for the favours which I used for increasing my disobedience towards Thee. And I ask forgiveness of Thee for the sins which no one knows except Thee and no one sees except Thee and nothing encompasses except Thy mercy and nothing delivers from except Thy forgiveness and clemency. There is no god except Thee alone! Glory be to Thee! Verily I was from amongst the oppressors! O Allah, I ask forgiveness of Thee for the injustice I committed against Thy servants. Whatever of your male and female servants whom I have hurt, physically or in their dignity or in their wealth, give them of Thy bounty which lacks nothing. And I ask Thee to honour me with Thy mercy which encompasses all things and do not humble me with Thy punishment but give me what I ask of Thee, for I am in great need of Thy mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful! And prayers and blessings of Allah be upon our master Muhammad and his family and his companions, all of them. And there is no power or might except with Allah the High, the Exalted.
