دُعَاءٌ بَعْدَ الطَّعَام
Duʿāʾ baʿd aṭ-Ṭaʿām — After Eating
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنِي هَذَا وَرَزَقَنِيهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ حَوْلٍ مِنِّي وَلَا قُوَّةٍ
Al-ḥamdu li-llāhi alladhī aṭʿamanī hādhā wa razaqanīhi min ghayri ḥawlin minnī wa lā quwwah.
All praise is for Allah who fed me this and provided it for me, without any might or power on my part.
Muʿādh ibn Anas reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Whoever eats food and then says, 'Praise be to Allah who has fed me this food and provided it for me without any might or power on my part,' his past sins will be forgiven. And whoever puts on a garment and says, 'Praise be to Allah who has clothed me with this and provided it for me without any might or power on my part,' his past sins will be forgiven.
