Duʿāʾ baʿd al-Wuḍūʾ — After Ablution
Ashhadu an lā ilāha illā-llāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, wa ashhadu anna Muḥammadan ʿabduhu wa rasūluh.
I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.
Umar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb reported that the Prophet ﷺ said: There is none among you who performs ablution, and does it thoroughly, then says, 'I bear witness that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the servant of Allah and His Messenger,' but that the eight gates of Paradise are opened for him, to enter through whichever of them he wishes.
