دُعَاءُ الْخُرُوجِ مِنَ الْمَنْزِل
Duʿāʾ al-Khurūj mina al-Manzil — When Leaving the Home
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ
Bismi-llāh, tawakkaltu ʿalā-llāh, wa lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā bi-llāh.
In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, and there is no might nor power except with Allah.
Anas ibn Mālik reported that the Prophet ﷺ said: When a man goes out of his house and says, 'In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah; there is no might and no power except with Allah,' it is said to him at that time, 'You are guided, sufficed, and protected,' and the devils withdraw from him. Then another devil says to him, 'How can you deal with a man who has been guided, sufficed, and protected?'
