Duʿāʾ al-Karb — Supplication in Distress

Lā ilāha illā-llāhu al-ʿAẓīmu al-Ḥalīm, lā ilāha illā-llāhu Rabbu al-ʿarshi al-ʿaẓīm, lā ilāha illā-llāhu Rabbu as-samāwāti wa Rabbu al-arḍi wa Rabbu al-ʿarshi al-karīm.

There is no god but Allah, the Magnificent, the Forbearing. There is no god but Allah, Lord of the Mighty Throne. There is no god but Allah, Lord of the heavens, Lord of the earth, and Lord of the Noble Throne.

The Prophet ﷺ would say at times of distress: There is no god worthy of worship except Allah, the Most Great, the Most Forbearing; there is no god worthy of worship except Allah, the Lord of the Magnificent Throne; there is no god worthy of worship except Allah, the Lord of the Heavens and the Lord of the Earth and the Lord of the Generous Throne.
