دُعَاءُ الْإِفْطَار
Duʿāʾ al-Ifṭār — When Breaking the Fast
ذَهَبَ الظَّمَأُ، وَابْتَلَّتِ الْعُرُوقُ، وَثَبَتَ الْأَجْرُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ
Dhahaba aẓ-ẓamaʾu, wa-btallati al-ʿurūqu, wa thabata al-ajru in shāʾa-llāh.
The thirst is gone, the veins are moistened, and the reward is confirmed, if Allah wills.
Ibn ʿUmar reported: When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ broke his fast, he would say, 'Gone is the thirst, the veins are moistened, and the reward is assured, if Allah wills.'
