دُعَاءُ الْهُدَى وَالتُّقَى
Duʿāʾ al-Hudā wa at-Tuqā — Supplication for Guidance and Piety
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْهُدَى وَالتُّقَى وَالْعَفَافَ وَالْغِنَى
Allāhumma innī asʾaluka al-hudā wa at-tuqā wa al-ʿafāfa wa al-ghinā.
O Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity and contentment (freedom from want).
Abdullah ibn Masʿūd reported that the Prophet ﷺ would say: O Allah, I ask You for guidance, righteousness, chastity, and self-sufficiency.
